Dear Ranking Indian Colleges for US:
The US does not have a "centralized authority" for evaluating and ranking Indian colleges and universities. Colleges and universities in the US operate independently of any "authority" and of other colleges and universities. Each college or university has its own understanding and assessment of the quality of education at various Indian colleges and universities. Assessments by individual colleges or universities are not publicly available; thus, you can not have access to them. It is fair to assume that institutions like Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) are well-known in the US and are held in highest regard. Beyond the top colleges in India, it is merely a guessing game.
Because of the disparity in the quality of education across hundreds of colleges in India and in other countries, the standardized entrance exams such as GRE (Graduate Record Exam) and GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) play an important role in the admission decisions in the US.
