Dear Yoga Visa:
Yoga is not a formal program of studies in the US. Consequently, a career in Yoga in the US does not have a prescribed path as, say, for teaching science in schools.
Teaching in Yoga is like a business: either you start the business or gain employment with an already existing Yoga business. For obtaining visa as a Yoga teacher, you need an employer who is not only willing to offer you employment but is also willing to sponsor you for a work visa. Only your prospective employer can file a petition for work visa for you with the US INS (Immigration & Naturalization Service).
